Really sorry to hear that and just glad I wasn't there to see it - I have sticky-fingered thieving bastards and I hope you prosecute whoever did it. I've had no end of stuff nicked in the past and some people just can't help themselves can they?
You should also name and shame them here for the sake of the rest of us because if they are toe-rags that can't keep their hands off other people's property then why should they be inflicted on the rest of us?
I future though, you should take a pocket camera or some-such to events like this so that you don't have to care too much about damage or loss. Only the 'equipment-nazis' will give a damn that your camera is smaller and less flashy than theirs and who gives a damn about them? The people that matter know you're the dog's bollocks Stormchild!

Could it have been one of the idiots who kept trying to get upstairs from the ground floor?
A few of the lads were trying to be 'big men' by trying to get in and who got upset when they were told private party.

Yes, perhaps I'm na?ve, but I really can't imagine people within the industry going to a party to steal cameras from each other.
