Managed to appear on 'Primetime' in the States and basically declared how she was a poor Mormon who hated her life and hated the things porn had made her be and do. It should be noted that the tattoos and the drug habit preceded the porn and perhaps didn't tie in with her claims to have been a god-fearing girl before the nasty porno agents got hold of her. been a big hoo hah on the US sites as you can imagine.

To sum up - US network TV wanted to do a 'job' on the porn industry and mnaged to find a troubled pornstar who they could make break-down on national television for the delectation of the masses. The lady obviously has real problems - psychological and chemical - which pre-date her porn career. I just hope she can get some help and put herself back together - the porn industry may not have helped her do it but being humiliated and destroyed by the scavenger media most definitely didn't either.

The old 'chicken and the egg' situation - does porn mess people or are there a lot of messed up people who gravitate into porn.

Loads more on this a couple of weeks back on sites like Luke Ford

She's a MUCH better actress than I gave her credit for, then.
Or she has some EXTREMELY effective medication.
Seems like a nice kid, too (and/or nasty...). Hope she gets things sorted.

Basically a person caught at a vulnerable moment and pushed into a corner live on TV by a very experienced and dare I say unscrupulous interviewer. In the end she said what they wanted to hear. All was not as it seemed but in the end another carpeting for the industry...

I don't think it's a bad article to be honest...

There are mixed messages in it. The author acknowledges porns growing "respectability" but his personal opinion does, however, shine through.

But lets make no mistake - his personal opinion relates to the lack of regulation despite porn's growing respectability... and I don't think anyone can really argue with his sentiment...

I'd like to see more articles like this - acknowledging the growing social acceptance but lobbying for a little more health and safety regulation...

Fair point - well made. There have been voices for some regulation of the industry along positive lines in the US recently but it has about as much chance of happening as I have of becoming Pope
