I know what you mean there are precious few led lights out there for photography yet, you can get products from litepanels but they are still hideously expensive. That multi light set up looks good i may look into that myself.

Depends on the bulb (like all lighting) I use a single cree light from dinotte for my mountain biking its smaller consumes less power and brighter than my old halogen set up so im definitely sold on leds.
