Nascar you are one of those guys I want toapologise to.
You seem like a perisitent guy and that means a lot in my books.
Its not a total washout though, If Ian gets a test shoot of you we'll still put it on the new UKAP site when it goes up, showcasing new talent so that other producers can see what you are like or get a shoot of yourself to show you got flair, getting it up, getting it in and shooting.
..And I want to see some personality. get a twinkle in the girls eye. You'll be a star if you make her shine.

Look, the only way you will get new male talent into the industry is through the girls..simple as that. BUT....because the UKAP does not view the talent worthy enough to post on their forum then why should they help you? Poppy has brought a few guys into the industry, guys who have gone straight to work with the likes of Harmony etc, why does she pass them on to Harmony and Private? maybe because they value her input, they value her as a performer, they recognise what she has done for Uk porn, they dont shoot a girl then look for a new face which is what the UK porn industry is all about, whats happened to making stars? investing a little time into someone and showing her the ropes?
So many girls are now coming and going so quickly and i understand why, it's all about turnover of new talent, forget quality of exsisting talent and using their strenghs to give the punter what he wants. I have had the pleasure of working with the majority of UK performers, guys and girls, and the likes of Renee Richards, Suzie Best, Alicia Rhodes, Angel Long, Michelle B and yes Poppy, will always outshine new talent, will always out sell new talent, here's an idea....let these girls into your private forum and ask them for help, because they know more than anyone what is needed in UK porn, they can attract more publicity and punters then 100 secret producers forums ever could, this is so simple, use the formula thats been succesfull, use the girls that have attracted attention to UK porn throughout the world, then, give your subscriptions to them as im sure they will have far more success in putting the UK porn scene back on the map.

Just not in the producers section? Thats for members only. Posting on the general forum is as good as posting on the producers forum.
As for the auditions, producers were not necessarily looking for new talent but merely responding to all the requests for guys wanting to come in of which there was 40.
The guys you are talking about will always find their way in via the way you said but this event was about fast tracking them through for the attention of 20 plus producers and the event of 2007 did work for the ones who got through.
The sad fact of the matter this time out is the 37 with the excuses were a waste of time and I'm glad they taught me that now.
Guys might come in and say they worked for so and so but this means nothing until the show producers their perfomance. You know as well as I do that unless a producer gives them a seal of approval, the next producer isnt going to give them a chance by gambling his entire shoot on a guy who said he did well.
What does do well mean? He turned up on the set? Im very cautious about trying new talent out as it was a complete nightmare when I was shooting commissioned stuff for clients and one performer was weaker than the other but commanded the same money.
Im one of them doubting Thomasproducers until I have seen a guy in action I will determine if he is the right man for the job and I suspect a lot of producers too.
Including Harmony who produce work that is most demanding of its male talent compared to most.
The UK industry would be most happy if Poppy was to continue finding male talent. If poppy isd producing then i dont see any reason why she shouldnt pay her subs and join up like the other members have.

you missed my point Terry, you need people like poppy and the others ive mentioned on the commitee, not resigned to the "general Forum" so the "what are you talking about" is very close to paul "Mr Solicitor'" bluebirds way of avoiding the question, why are you not asking the main players in the UK adult industry for help (PERFORMERS)? are they not a big part of the UK porn industry? could they not help the UK porn industry? if they cant...why?...if they can...why are they not on the commite of UKAP?...after all that...is it fair to ask the people who make us money(UK Perormers)....and can improve our industry..to pay a subscription for their input?
