We left it years before joining the internet but it is the best way to earn your pennies at present, saying this we done well with the Loot & Desire in the old days when tapes could sell for ?30 each & the customers would actually contact you for the latest releases. Mailing lists were a pain in the arse but you held onto them with dear life as they were your lifeline, you would look through the hundreds of names & if only a quarter of them bought your films the money was still great. Internet is good but the best time for producers was before the internet boom. Every one in this business is a professional if you earn money from what you do, some choose better titles than others but we all do the same thing.

Seems a bit of an odd question if you don't mimd me saying; as a professional studio, we're open to both professional photographers, camermen and producers as well as amateur ones.

The vast majority of people who visit our studio BEHAVE professionally - and that's what counts in this business.

So it really makes no odds, for those good people, whether they are technically professional, amateur, hobbyists, people who make a little pocket money whilst having a day job...or some other label I might have left out.

Yes I have been around shooting for 5 years now however my site just went up in Febuary this year as I made the choice even though I have been professional in every sense of how I approach my work I decided to launch my site and just do it and enter the adult industry and just do it.

I have always had a good rep but I must admit since the launch of my site, both sales and models contacting me for work has been amazing and better than I thought.

I know how to approach people, how to get good quality material shot, pay the going rate, always look after my models, run a fun and laid back shoot and am fully certed as my work is a particular style but is my chosen professional style as some companies choose this style too. Some like the Gonzo style and some prefer the polished style it doesnt really matter.

I think what he is getting at is the ones who contact models for private shoots in there middle age, and although alot of them maybe nice/safe people to be around alot of models do not like this type of work let alone being contacted to do it.

But Saracen House is right, if you act in a professional manner then its doesnt matter and up to the people working with you if they want to accept your offer of work.

If you have full certs, shoot for online content, treat people with respect and are prepared to pay the going rate then you are a professional. We dont all have to be a massive company to be accepted surely as the point is there isnt thant many in this country.

Thats how I read the purpose of this post, then again I could be wrong and dont claim to be right.

I love what I do and plan t be in it for the long run.

Paul
