If you don't want the pictures published, your best be would be to bite the bullet, and drop the pretence of it being a photoshoot, and insist the *don't* bring cameras.

Most of your punters will only be there for a wank, so you'll get things over with quicker by dropping the pretend photoshoot.

Convincing yourself it's a photoshoot by making them bring a camera along may work for you, but many others will see it as something completely different.

Just make sure you know exactly what you're getting into, because 'not for publication' blow jobs will not be far away. Followed by......?

Good luck with whatever you decide.

A model release is a way to prevent a model saying "it was private only, I want to sue" and dragging in other parties into a row they don't want.

With a release, there is no argument.

If models do work that they don't want to surface, they are taking a risk.

There is another option - License. A model can require a photographer sign a document stating that the photographs will not be sold, published, shared or even shown to anyone else without the models additional agreement at that time, and the model will be entitled to set their price, which they may choose to set so high that no one can afford it.

My personal advice to Claire is DON'T DO even HJ - it's obvious from all your posts that this isn't something you are comfortable with, and you will regret it. If money is short, maybe get a non model job and model part time.

This is good advice from Paul. Having read your various posts over the last year or so, Claire, it's fairly obvious what you don't want to do. Stick to your guns and only do what you are comfortable doing.

To be fair, the advice given by all, i.e. don't do it at all, is the safest action to take.

However, what irks me is the caring, sharing attitude. I wonder how many, pros. on here, try to / do shoot a model, who previously didn't do b/g or a new model who is thinking of trying it.? Then, I wonder how many, actively try and forcefully dissuade the model not to do a b/g shoot.

Most pros. are falling over themselves to book a newbie, it's all kudos, to have the latest b/g model.

How many models do 1 maybe 2 b/g shoots and don't do any more, indicating they probably were not comfortable with it, in the first place? I doubt the caring sharing pros. offered too much guidance before whipping the lens cap off.

There are some models who have done a b/g shoot or two, who clearly want to distance themselves from having done so.

Just recently there was some posts from busty Trudi (Stephens.. I think) who was prepared to modelling, but not b/g, then offered b/g and then didn't. It's obvious she wasn't totally comfortable trying b/g (I don't think she did any) but, I bet she got a lot of offers from pros. without any advice or words of caution from them.

Fair enough models that do b/g for publication, have agreed to that, which is different from Claire's dilemma, but, I really don't think too much thought is given to models who up their levels or are starting out.

I'm not suggesting that during a shoot or whatever, new b/g models are treated with anything less than total respect from pro. togs, producers etc. btw.

Double standards again, though?..... surely not!

I'm an amateur and proud of it. I have done some private b/g, not for publication and have honoured that agreement. I even tried to register with Purestorm and used anonymous (solo) pics. I took, thus not compromising the model in question, but my account was disabled as the Moderators claimed they were fake photos poached of the net somewhere.... Wa**ers!

I think the difference here is Claire from her wording obviously does not want people who know her know she does this.
Quote: "i cant be seen to be doing this...."

Where as a newbie model coming on here say "available for B/G (meaning full on) obviously wants to do it.
Hey I photographed Harmony Hex's first B/G insertion 30 mins before she went on video and got it stamped and printed and available in the shops now. The difference bwtween Clair and Harmony is Harmony wanted to and did not care who saw it - that my friend is the BIG difference... not double standards.

Claire,

You have mail from me on this subject. For the wider audience here it is not to request a b/g scene.

Hi Claire

Whatever you do would be published so don't do it if its risky for you, i got caught years ago making an amateur film for a laugh with friends & ended up in the newspapers. We make lots of Private films for singles, couples & groups & they stay 'Private' just for them as they get the DVD, Tape & photos (all recorded material) & no model releases need to be signed.
