Not all of us are against you guys. I think it is hilarious the panic your company has put some producers in.

I see you guys as the Chelsea of U.K porn. It might make things a little uncomfortable for some, but like Jose and his boys it made the rest raise the bar to compete which can only be a good thing for the industry and the consumer.

I also believed in building a library of films before releasing and still have around thirty unseen films in my catalogue, this to me just made good sense. As you never know what can happen so it is always good to have stock to keep you going through any difficult times. Although I have a sneaky feeling finance is not a major problem for you like it has been for me, but many factors can throw a shot in the bows that you just did not expect. But you have gathered a good team around you so you should be fine.

Good luck with your launch, I hope it all goes as well as you planned. I only hear good things about you from the people that work for you.
I feel those who are worried maybe realising their product will not be strong enough to stand up in the market place after you release. but for some of us stubborn little bastards who may not know much better. I welcome you in to the arena.

I like your response, it is indeed very true. I myself am only a small independant producing for others in the main welcome a new proffessional provider. The British Adult Industry needs people with vision & the capital you say you have. It is indeed rather sad that many in the industry see what you are doing as a negative &/or a threat.

The adult industry in the UK (in the main) is ran on a very ad hock plateform. I do feel you may are being a little harsh on many others budgets, what can you expect when a producer can only get a mere ?2500 24 minute adult TV program, I myself am also involved in non adult TV, now if we compair a 30 minute 12 part series you would be looking at ?25k per programe. My point being that sadley Adult Production in the UK is based on pay as little, give as little & expect the maximum, so when a business comes along with real money, people, in general, get worried that the apple cart will get overturned!! LOL. Whereas in fact more oppertunities are likely to be produced.

What we need is more vision & great investment in QUALITY products.

Finally a funny story to amuse & demonstrate my comments, I have a client that wants me to produce a project for them (not adult). My budget on model fees (not an adult model(s) ) was ?750k plus agency fee. I contacted a agency, I shant give their name away but they are run by a guy called Marc, their name may represent unattractive models (although the models are not). Now without checking me out or having anykind of business discussion I got this reply -

We?ve had a good laugh at you email, so thanks a lot for brightening up our afternoon. We wish you lots of luck in spending your ?750k (plus agency fee ofcourse)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
