Sounds like an idiot who is wasting everyones time, they come and the go. Katie the best way to get a great start up portfolio is pay for it. You get a pro (hopefully) and you know his intentions are in your wallet not your knickers. Gary Silver comes to mind. If you want to do topless he shoots that, he does not tell you "unless you spread them you can't earn money". I shot Penthouse for about a year as the features editor and I can tell you there a very few photographers around that will work for free, that are any good. Pictures even if you only have a few are the answer but they need to be great. Your portfolio then grows with every shoot you do, every six months get some new ones done how you want them, if it means paying a few hundred quid its worth it.

If he was legit, & trying to get more clients/models, as well as having clients/models on his books, he would have a website with a showcase.

The ONLY "cpc productions" I can find online, is for a company specializing in audio/video/lighting for movie production, and another company specializing in Animations.

I cant even see the point in you posting this rubbish, and trying to findout who cpcproductions is ..... the way you say "has anyone else heard or worked with cpcproductions?" makes it sound like you or Niki are seeking some sort of verification as to if the ?1150 shoots are real or not.

Everyone in the business knows you constantly get people that try it on, and the internet provides an easy vehicle for thier scams. This guy clearly wants to do a shoot for ?50 and thats it.

I don't think Niki was trying to verify if cpcproductions would pay over a ?1000 for a 3 hours shoot.

We knew it was a load of bollocks, but how many other girls fall for this ?50 test shoot crap!!!

It should be seen as a warning!!

If no one mentioned on here that these wasters are trying this, it will happen more often!!!
