Coolcat, I've just worked out who started this thread. A girl, not a guy. This is the world's most bitter person, most certainly was not at the awards, but spends a lot of her time posting anonymous attacks against whoever happens to be her enemy-of-the-week.

Many people will know who I'm referring to but there's little point naming her and giving her the oxygen of publicity that she craves so badly.

"the website hasn't been updated - big deal!"

Well if the website were to be updated with the award winners then maybe the awards would get a bit of publicity for next year.

I have yet to see a story in the media to say who won!

Melon F I spoke to Phil Black the other day and he proably is aware if he reads this forum and he informed me that the winners and noms will be on the site (this or that) this weekend.

To his defence. There was still a lot of stuff he has to get on with even after the show. Theres a lot of people wanting an audience with him right now so I imagine knowing who the winners are isnt a priority at this moment. It will be dealt with.

Sorry Terry, but that's not a good enough argument. For the UK Adult Awards to be taken seriously by mainstream media, they need to have the entire list of winners posted on their website the day after the awards themselves. You're not seriously suggesting that they didn't have a list on the night? A Word doc. download on the site wouldn't have been rocket science the following day.

We're well over a week on and I haven't seen an official list yet.

Regardless of whether any poster here "has an axe to grind", the bottom line is that credibility only comes through transparency of judging and a listing of the winners themselves.

I emailed Phil some time ago to ask for a list and have so far had no response. How is anyone in the press (mainstream or adult) supposed to feature the event if we can't name the winners?

A very valid point Mr Mensworld & Mayfair. I shall proceed to kick some ass about this and get this resolved as soon as humanly possible.

The Guardian hit the right note.If the industry in the UK is worth a billion quid then it deserves better than a couple of hundred punters paying a tenner at Hammersmith Palais....either do it with a bit of class or leave it to the Yanks ..Must agree also that the results should have been out sooner.Thats where the publicity would have been and the extra income for the winners.

....yea maybe the awards is great if you attend the event but sadly redzone failed thousands of majority like myself who didn't attend this event.

How can you provide for the peeps who didn't attend the even?

errm....well by updating the awards website soon as after the event and posting awards winners with pics etc.. might be a good start.

I have come on here to make an honest point and some peeps like mr strictlybroadband go on the attack accusing me of being some girl with axe to grind -please get a grip!!!

...and why does it have to take the intervention of VIP like mr Mayfair before mr two eye jack finally sees sense to order the lazy peeps at redzone to act?

Hope next year's event is a million times better organised and stuff...and you wanna look after the needs of majority who can't attend. OK?

Award winners need to have significant publicity as the awards, importantly, need to be worth winning.

Winning an award should boost the employment opportunities of the winning actors and the sales of the DVDs/website sign-ups for the winning producers.

Without the public knowing who the winners are, this can't happen.
