Firstly there are different rules depending on the council. Since 24th Nov 2005 each local council is responsible for the licencing of pubs, clubs etc. in it's area and some are stricter than others in what may or may not be permitted. In some areas full nudity is not permitted. In some areas girls may "grind" on customers laps. In other areas girls must remain 3ft from the customer (an arbitrary ruling invented by Westminster council when Stringfellows first opened and now used as a "benchmark" by many councils). If you are correct in what you say, in your area the girls have to be 4" away, though I find it hard to believe a council would choose such a small distance when most prefer the "3ft rule".

Secondly, what happens at a private "ticket only" event and what happens at a club where anyone can just walk in off the street are two very different things. (Actually it's not quiet as simplistic as that, but I have neither the time nor the inclination to pass on my vast wealth of knowledge on the subject for free)

Thirdly, if your club has customers beaten up for touching a dancer the bouncers can be charged with assault, ABH and maybe even GBH. There is a Stringfellows bouncer currently in jail for manslaughter after a customer was so forcefully ejected that he hit his head on the pavement and died. Maybe your club should employ properly trained and licenced doormen (as per the law) rather than mindless thugs!

You're lucky I'm a principled person... many would have said, OK I've got a booking for you and thrown you in at the deep end and sod the consequences!

Furthermore, there's nothing illegal about what I do, and ask any girl who works for me and she'll tell you I don't take any "house fees", commissions etc off them. It's your club owner who's the pimp, not me!
