well surprise, surprise, as the day draws ever closer, the 'newbies' are droppping like flies and inventing dead relatives all over the place.

Well as guessed we started off with a jet load and after the timewsters weedled themselves out, we've got enough to fill a people carrier.

I'd be interested to learn what you call a time waster as whilst I applied, I don't think of myself as a time waster.

I spoke to Jim about this and he explained that the shoot was for a series on TV and would require full on camera exposure (face & body), I decided not to proceed.

I wasn't sure from the original posting whether this was required and when it was mentioned, I quickly made my decision.

Perhaps some people like myself who have been involved in group shoots were also unsure whether on camera faces were required and decided whilst they are happy to do blurred or non-face shoots / videos, they didn't want to do on camera faces.

Just a thought.

Lara, have you had any "newbies" confirmed to attend yet ?

As soon as I can get rid of some weight, approx 30 Lbs I'll be looking to get some work. I don't think you want a guy with a podgy stomach.

I did a test shoot a while ago, but issues prevented me from going further. However, now, except for my weight, I have everything I need. I can get all my Certs at a clinic near here, within a 10 day remit.

I lost over 15 Lbs in the last month, & that was with hardly any exercise, so hopefully it wont take me much longer, as I've stepped up my exercise regime.

I'm totally out of the running for this event, hopefully by the end of august, if not early september I'm planning to be ready for work.
