Majority of the people who send these mails are people who dont have a clue.

Come on people lets be serious, if i was going to send a virus of my own creation, would i really use my own email ? DUUURRRRRR

My Advice is get on to your ISP and get them to install an antiviral on your mail server, and if something gets thru report it, and get their definitions updated.

If your norton allows you to send virus's back it must be setup wrong, as its supposed to stop them BOTH ways, may wanna look into that.

It should also be noted that if the said person is innocent as above YOUR EMAIL ACCOUNT COULD BE TERMINATED for sending viruses, so its never a good idea.

The latest worm thats doing the rounds had a short subject like 'text' or 'photos' or 'that file' something like that, with an email message that says Helllo, then asks a question, like 'what version of windows are you using', 'did you get the last file' whatever then says the below.

Hello,
QUESTION HERE
This last document I received from you came out weird.
Please see the attached word file and resend the file to me.
Many thanks,
User

This is a WORM and the person sending it DOESNT know, and needs a kick in the balls for not having a virus scanner installed.

It is said that both love and truth walk hand in hand. But if the need is great enough, can we learn to love a lie?

Norton & McAfee is a load of Bollox, I use AVG from Grisoft, completely FREE, regular (sometimes daily) updates.

I have used Grisoft's "AVG Anti-Virus" program for over 3 years now, & I think I have only had 6 Virus's actually manage to get onto my computer in the last 18 months. ALL of them were killed by AVG before they were fully downloaded/transfered on my computer.

Hunny, exactly, I get inexcess of 1,000 emails daily. I NEVER download my emails directly to Outlook or any other Email Client first. Instead I use a program that connects Directly to the Online Email Servers, no matter if it is from my ISP, Hotmail, or any other form of Email Server etc, it connects, sifts, deletes, then lets me know what SAFE mail there is for me to download. !grin!
