if its cheap with class results your looking for

bounce these babies back in to the area through some nice sized brollies,
set the white balance and your hd unit will capture some nice deep flesh tones.
even the palest of females will look good for a budget.

They are fan cooled - how silent are the fans on them? - I only ask because some time back I hired some fan cooled lights for an interview and the mics picked up the sound of the fans.

they are a very faint blow but its best to shoot using the lights as suround lights rather than directional thus the use of the brollies so they are out of range. or if you dont want to fork out on brollies bounce them back of the ceiling corners

Reds and blondes are fine but can be very warm in confined spaces. On professional shoots I have often used a neat little light called a Dedolight. This are very discrete and surprisingly powerful. You can gel them for daylight or tungsten and soften them down. Like Reds they are adjustable for spot or spread and are dimmable. Three of these can fit in a small bag and you can even get clips to attach to doors or hand from suspended ceilings.
