Yeah, I did a documentary on LWT a few years ago, where they discussed some of my films, the concepts of which had all been thought of by a woman. They then showed them to a band of rabid, donkey-jacketed dykes, who when at first thought the programmes had been made by a woman, seemed to like them, however when they found out it was me who'd directed and shot them, they spat venom and said the scenes were shite!
They would have torn me limb from limb if I'd been there!

I've seen The Vibrating Maid and Lust In The Mummys Tomb (2002)
with Misty Mundae.
She is a very attractive girl - small and delicate.
The 2 films were softcore crap.
I think it's 'unethical and exploitational' to do those sorts of pictures (the films I was just talking about - The Vibrating Maid and Lust In The Mummys Tomb).

I'm not so sure this business is so exploitative (in the negative use of the word) as the models are the only ones who make money up front. The producer parts with it to work at making their money back.
Exploitation then rests with the girl not getting a fair wage for being over worked or gang banged silly for 150 pounds.....Mind you, there are some who would doit for free but then thats down to personal choice.

"The reason i posed some of the questions - particularly those relating to female talent, is because i would like to have some 'ammo' from other third parties when hit with negative questions regarding the role of female talent in porn."
Well here's a grenade you can chuck at them. There's a certain young lady in Budapest who is pretty well known in the porn business who can be seen hurtling around the streets in her Lamborghini Murcielago when not being exploited!
Remove pin, take aim and throw!

Tom,
Why don't you just do what TV documentary makers do?
Make it up as you go along and spout sh*t.

One eyed jack -
Good point...while there is usually a fairly reasonable bet you'll get your money back, there is not always that guarantee - and if a girl (or guy for that matter) is getting paid well, being looked after well and enjoys the work - where is the exploitation?
My argument has always been all entertainment is some form of exploitation - whether music/film/theatre regardless of the content - in 99% of cases it is a financier investing in the talent's ability to sell product in order to reap $$$ return. If the talent is happy - everyone wins!
I've known terrible situations in mainstream entertainment of people getting 'screwed' (financially). And the music biz has to be one of the worst!

How many times have you watched a docu with that irritating 'voice of doom' deathly voice over and a 'look, these guys are having a terrible time' background music track... the power of the edit!
