I would have flushed the sessions table, as it could be a problem with that?
Have you applied the AOL Mod to your forum that deals with AOLs habit of multiplexing across many servers and firewalls, it is actually possible on aol that the request to this site can one IP yet another request to another site can have another, because with AOL your PC never truely connected to the net, as you attach to AOLs server, which is a firewall, i wont go into details as its technical crap that aol dont comfirm in detail, but its possible to have multiple IP addresses in one session with aol, so theres a mod that helps PHPBB deal with this problem.
