In my experience, this extends way beyond porn. Hollywood also avoids the "controversial" issue of mixed race relationships, as it's a guaranteed way of losing conservative American audiences. However they presents themselves, America is still racist and segregated to the core.

You're right, but there's a difference between individual racism, and the institutional kind that affects most of the US entertainment industry. It's usually of the form "I don't mind, but our audiences/customers might not like it..."

I for one applaud Mr Arena Journalist Man for writing about such a topic. I don't feel it is that incendiary a subject but one thatdeserves light shed on it.
