I have never and will never appear in an adult film but surely the girl and the guy needs to be comfortable with each other for the scene to work. I have watched documentaries and interviews with some of the biggest names in the industry, Jenna jameson for instance has a list of 5 people she is willing to act with. Briana Banks , a few more but a good few she won't work with and everyone she works with must have made films with directors she knows and respects.
In other words if they don't know or like the guys they can't perform.

Also true in mainstrame films, some actresses will not do love scenes with some actors and thats all fake. It simply doesn't work and look good if both performers aren't totally comfortable. Surely the trick for the casting directors is to find out from the female performer who they want to work with and hire him. Not rocket science I wouldnt have thought

A rule I generally live by Neil but I also understand the producers who see it purely as a business and not a dating game but that's because I strive for genuine scenes rather than the idea of seeing everyones favourite girl shagging for the sake of it. More often than not it looks like their just putting in work and most of the time, most people don't care hence why I don't shoot as often as i do and prefer to sit back a bit and survey the scene. I don't always get it right, but more often than not get a pleasing result. You can always find a drop dead sexy girl, but what do you do if they are not particularly sexy because they have that (vietnam terminology) "thousand yard stare".

This is probably why I favour one on one shoots over group shoots. Theres nothing worse than seeing one bloke doing all the work and a bunch of others tugging their dicks because they can't figure a way into the melee.
