Yes, I think if we want to have as perfect database as possible,
it's important to give a personal name for as many performers as possible.
In my opinion this is the order of importance what comes to names:
1. The official performer name
2. The most known alias for the performer
3. If the performer has many names,
then she should be listed by the name that has been used the most often
4. If there isn't a name that is clearly used the most,
and if people don't have a preference for the name,
then any name she has used can be picked.
5. If there isn't any performer names known,
but if the performer has a clear character name in a video,
then that should be used
6. A code-name for unknown person, like EGAFD does with the XNK#### system.
7. A completely made up name with no connection to any product whatsoever.
This would only be preferrable if that person is very famous for some role
or has been in lots of titles, but there's not a single name to connect to her.
Then it would be better to collectively decide on a name
rather than just have a code-name.
5 and 6 could be swappable depending on
how probable it feels an actual name for the performer can be eventually found.
At the very least there should be the code-name
so that the person can be connected with other movie titles.
But in my opinion it would be preferrable to use
a real name whether it's just a character name or not.
Names are easier to remember than codes.
That said, I'd say until "Viola Finn" has been recognized with a more official name,
EGAFD should have either XNK#### or "Viola Finn" instead of not having anything,
and for me "Viola Finn" would be preferrable because it's much more distinct name.
