Just to be sure to not break this forum's rules, how to sort out the cases in which the real name has to be considered public dominion (ie Federica Tommasi) from the ones in which - while appering on some sort of publicly available media - they should not?

I think that a case where an actress may have shown ID to the camera, perhaps forgetting that it showed her real name, is different from where it appears in credits; so we will play it safe and not mention it.

But even in the case of credits, sometimes performers do not know that their real names have been used, and have asked for them to be removed from this site and the same has happened on bgafd. There's no way we can know whether such names are real or whether the performers object, until we are told; so we use them.

But it is difficult, perhaps impossible, to cover all possibilities in a rule, except perhaps "if you know it is a real name and it is not used in the database, don't mention it on the forum". Does that sound OK as a guideline?

Also, if we use a real name in the database and you know it is real and not well-known, tell us (by e-mail) and we will remove it from the aliases.
