Hello Fritz, R18 is a classification of the British Board of Film Classification for certain hardcore videos which may be sold in licenced sex shops in UK to people over 18. Although their introduction a couple of years ago brought about a relaxation in what we can now purchase legally in the UK, there are still restrictions, we certainly have not the same freedoms you enjoy in Germany. Because of restrictions on such things as pissing, there is a tendancy for distributors to submit inferior American films rather than European ones for classification. There is also the language question too. I don't think R18's sell in sufficient quantities to generally justify dubbing them. I only mentioned 'The world's luckiest patient' as it was a fairly new American film Jeannie appeared in. There are a couple of other films in @the world's luckiest' series but I don't know if Jeannie is in them. Basically they are about a man who gets himself into situations where he has sex with a huge number of women, usually over 100 per film! The films are hardly classics, but are, in my opinion, rather better than is usually the case with modern American films.

Hello davidS,

thank You very much for Your long informative answer. Well, we might be some more liberal in censorship which doesnt exist officially, but we are on the other hand more expensive, primarly in importing magazines from the UK and other Countries. The Paul Raymond Press Mags cost twice as much as in England.
By the way, do you know a Forum for collectors of Videos/DVDs or Magazines with Erotic Contents? Our Forum is just for charing opinions and advices, as far as i see (nevertheless very interesting).

Cheers
Fritz

No offence intended Herschi. I merely meant that this thread has been inactive since January. Possibly you thought I was referring to something else, which I was not. Perhaps with the international readership of this forum, cyrptic entries are not a good idea.

I probably have misunderstood it.
Excuse me!

That's ok. I understand how the misunderstanding came about.
