You've gone off on a tangent here.
The question asked (as I understood it) was why Jeremy Clarkson being sued for race discrimination when the person (Oisin Tymon) suing him is of the same race.
The answer is because under the terms of the Equality Act 2010, discrimination on grounds of nationality comes under the heading of ?Race Discrimination?.
Tymon's current suit against Clarkson hinges on the alleged statements that Clarkson made in connection with Tymon's Irish heritage. It has been reported that Clarkson called Tymon a "lazy Irish ****"
Clarkson does not have a glowing record when it comes to spreading racial harmony around the world. If he has any sense at all he?ll try and settle the case with Mr Tymon out-of-court.
Your remarks about ?people being prosecuted / convicted when no evidence whatsoever exists? isn't worth relying to.
