Totally agree with you No 6. I live in a fishing community and a previous boss worked on the childrens panel. The amount of child abuse that was going on really shocked me. Apparently one of the worst places was a village about 30 miles from me and was full of what we class as "holy rollers" The husband went to sea all week and when he came home if it was his wife's time of the month the oldest daughter or in some cases son got the benefit of his attentions. These were people who had no qualms about landing illegal fish because they were not breaking "Gods Law" but only mans' law.Total (but usually very rich)hypocrites.

Apparently Jill Dando knew a lot of things and was set to expose them and then look what happened.....

Think that's going a bit too far. She would have only been a teenager in the 70s when this was happening.

I know that EL , but she was a journalist and she had a lot of contacts. One thing for sure she wasn't killed by Barry George.

I think you vastly overestimate her abilities. She presented breakfast tv, holiday programmes, antiques programmes, as well was Crimewatch and read the news. She was no Kate Adie.
