Yeah that's what the 18-25 year old age group has done for yonks and look where it has got them -

1. Workfare.
2. Talk of banning housing benefit for that age group.
3. No job prospects unless they fancy zero hours contracts or minimum wage work.
4. Trebling of student fees prior to struggling to get a job in Costa Coffee.

I am not saying that it is the fault of the 18-25 year olds.

What I am saying is that if you get a section of the population that generally votes much, much less than say, old age pensioners, the result is that politicians take the needs of the non voting sector much less because they don't have to worry about electoral payback.

So your suggestion to not vote merely puts people into a worse position.
