I'll be honest and hope they vote yes as well.

IF they do though 2 things at least should happen:

1 Call me Dave and the other arsewipes shouldn't just resign they should go round the back of Number 10 and blow their fucking brains out.

2. and most important of all, the jocks should be given complete Independence in all its forms, no help nor hindrance but an absolute cut from the GB that was with all rules that apply to our European friends and other foreign nationals until they become part of the EU coming in to play as soon as Independence is granted.

Agree. The leader of the Conservative and UNIONIST party has made a total bollocks of this referendum and Labour have neglected their Scottish supporters.

2. and most important of all, the jocks should be given complete Independence in all its forms, no help nor hindrance but an absolute cut from the GB that was with all rules that apply to our European friends and other foreign nationals until they become part of the EU coming in to play as soon as Independence is granted.

Agree. If that did happen Salmond and the SNP would probably sink without trace weighed down by currency, EU, Euro issues in the context of a ludicrously short timescale for Scottish independence i.e. 18 months time. All the questions he and the SNP have avoided for years.

In that scenario Scottish people would really suffer even more than they have like the rest of the less well off people in Britain in the last few years.

That is why I hope they vote No.

I was inclined to hope they voted NO but in light of bollocks spewed, especially by Salmond I've become inclined to think fuck em and let them reap the whirlwind.

Harsh I know and not my usual take on things but seeing Billy Bullshit in the shit would be wonderful.

Sadly, although it is only rumour, it's being reported that he's not even attending his own count which would suggest thowd smug git knows what the result will be

I think there was an air of panic about the measures on devolution proposed by the three party leaders in Westminster.

One of the statements made was that the Barnett formula which is used by the Treasury to work out how much public expenditure is provided to Scotland, Wales etc will be unchanged.

And it is worth pointing out that any measures of devolution etc. have to be passed by the Westminster parliament and that is not going to be straightforward. A lot of English MPS will be saying what about England. And Wales is not in favour of the Barnett formula so they will kick off about that.

So in short, it ain't going to be straightforward either about the nitty gritty or if it gets passed in the format proposed.

Yeah I thought exactly the same. Let's see the smug grin wiped off Salmond's face. But I felt for the poor bastards who might really suffer as a result.

The thing about the 'poor bastards' is that turnout is huge.

IF they could have been arsed at the General Election they wouldn't be in the situation hence my fuck the navel gazing bastards and fuck em again attitude.

Good news is that it's looking like a big fuck you to Salmond, it's just a pity it wasn't done long before this mess.

Agree entirely about turnout. This is a big, big wake up call for Labour. Labour did do well at the general election in 2010 in terms of Scottish votes for Westminster, but they were crap in the run up to the Scottish Assembly which allowed Salmond to have overall power. Miliband is running out of time.

One thing you can say for the smug bastard, Salmond is that he did run a great grassroots campaign and the Better Together campaign looked a bunch of bloody amateurs in comparison.

The poll that gave the Yes campaign a majority seems to have scared potential No voters shitless and energised the Yes vote as well which has resulted in this huge turnout.

To be honest I don't think it will be a big wake up call for Labour.

From what I am seeing already, from the usual faces trotted out to represent it, is that the vote has merely condoned their strategy for the way things should be done or they have committed to should they be elected in 2015.

They will obviously make noise about listening and do the other blah blahs we always see after any election but when the fire and passion has calmed down it will be back to normal.

Sadly with Miliband being part of the team that saved the Nation I also don't see him being on any borrowed time unless they don't win 2015.

Well Scotland has gone from being overwhelmingly Labour to a situation where over 1.5 million vote for independence. If that is not a wake up call, nothing is.

Should be but won't be.

Their even talking of Prescott's rejected plan, albeit without using the name, as being the way forward for England.
