There already is... and you missed it as it was held back in May. Only 5 stages long (but then again, the men's Tour of Britain which will be held in September only has 8 stages). Then there's the "Pearl Izumi Tour Series" of criteriums held between early May and mid June in about 10 towns and cities which feature both men's and women's races.
