I believe it is the case that Cameron has no access to Blair's papers. The Cabinet Office controls this access, I presume they are liaising between Chilcott and Blair. I do not think Cameron can be a party to this, as they are not his papers.

Okay, that makes it clearer.

Mind, given that the Cabinet Office is a function of government and supports the government of the day, I wonder how completely separate the functions are on this?
