If Scotland votes Yes for independence, I would predict the following scenario:
1. Incredible euphoria on the part of the Yes voters immediately after the election.
2. Reality kicks in and all the issues that the SNP have lied about, skimmed over, denied etc. will come back to bite them.
3. The SNP will experience one of the biggest drops in popularity in British politics as voters realise they are now up the Clyde without a paddle and that the independence decision is irrevocable.

The bookies don't give away free money and a NO vote is heavy odds on. Scotland won't go for independence.

The bookies can be wrong sometimes.....
Its one of those votes that cant be predicted...... If scotland do get Independence then I think that they will do well.....
Their economy will jump as it will no longer be held back by England - remember england is in such a mess compared to those in scotland and if they lost oil they would be basically feked.....
Hence the desperation and lies being banded about regarding how terrible it would be without the union. Terrible for who the scots ? Nah.....

One minor issue....most of the oil is in international waters...and Irn Bru sales won't make up the shortfalls that London kindly subsidises.....

Yeah. the independent Office of Budget Responsibility's prediction that oil revenues will drop by 38% by 2017-18, that's a lie. Clegg, Miliband and Cameron stating there will be no currency union with Scotland are lying. The polls stating that the remainder of the UK do not want to be in a currency union with an independent Scotland, they are lies. All the businesses stating they are against Scottish independence. They are lying. Barroso and umpteen European officials saying that Scotland would have to apply to join the EU as a new member, they are all lying.
So many lies. What we all really know is that the streets of Glasgow will be paved in gold post-independence. Long live King Salmond and his honest, trusty band of Bravehearts. At least he does not speak with forked tongue.
