According to a Eurobarometer survey in October 2010, 73% of Europeans believe that measures should be taken to improve the circulation of public documents between EU countries.

And in the EU, 47% of all statistics are made up.

"Twelve categories of public documents1 would automatically be exempted from formalities such as 'Apostille' and 'legalisation' ? which are currently required for around 1.4 million documents within the EU each year. Abolishing these requirements will save citizens and businesses in the EU up to ?330 million."

Each document costs ?235? I find that hard to believe.
