Yes top manager, one of the best ever.
It seems amazing that he could be held responsible for QPR's relegation, especially when they are not relegated so far anyway.

Just thought I'd resurrect this one after Saturday's result - Going down? I'd guess you can get good odds at William Hill on them staying up.

If you draw up a league table since Redknapp took over QPR are 10th in the table aren't they? A pretty good effort by Redknapp.

Why do so many people want to deify this guy? He's consigned 3 perfectly good clubs to lower divisions and spent millions of pounds doing so, and for what? May be 20 years spent away from England has left me not understanding football anymore.

How is taking over QPR when they were bottom anyway consigning them to a lower division? On his record there to date Redknapp being in charge for the whole season would probably have seen a top half finish.

trillery, you are like a drunk and a lamp post, you use spurious statistics for support not illumination. Redknapp is a total arsehole and with 3 relegated clubs as they say in baseball: 3 strikes, you're out!
Grief what is it about some people? Extrapolating figures to create a fictional situation is plain ludicrous.

How are top half finishes with Portsmouth relegation? You obviously have a different definition of relegation to other people.
I think if he'd had charge of QPR all season he wouldn't have had much difficulty in making the top half again.

Throwing more fuel on the fire: Anyone see his rant last week about Prima- Donna's not worth the money paid them? Do I hear a pot calling kettles black? Or simply an overpaid prick who hasn't a clue?

The wagebill at QPR which Redknapp inherited was clearly ridiculous, so yes he was right to speak out about it.

Why then didn't he build a team and sell the rest? That's surely what a manager should do.
