Its no joke but I'm often quoted as saying..."Who would you trust? A pornographer or a priest?"
I know myself and know what goes through peoples minds when they process that answer.
It just tells me what people think about people who make porn and highlights their own ignorance
I agree, this is all too prevalent now all the kiddy fiddling going on in the church these days and lets call it for what it is rather than this "inappropriate behaviour"
Me fondling a girls tits could be construed as "inappropriate behaviour", even with consent if Im doing it in a public place like a restaurant (Yeah Ive done that and worse)
Ive found many people turn to religion at the most emotionally fragile times in their life and I respect that need to reach out in desperation for hope where ever it may appear to be but don't kid me into thinking this shit is acceptable.
It just smacks of hypocrisy of the highest order and tells you that people have darkness in them no matter how pure they try to convince you they are striving to be

So why aren't Interpol and the SOCA doing a continent wide investigation into the Catholic Church then? How many more do they have to catch?

Well, for a start you get a decent education ? more so than in most state schools and you are able to spell exactly correctly.

As in all walks of life there are some you can and there are some you cannot. You could change the phrase "Catholic priest" with politician, policeman, lawyer, judge, accountant, teacher, famous charity fund raising celebrity..... The list is endless.
The Church has problems and hopefully they will be resolved with the appointment of a new Pope. Time will tell.
But this is perhaps a mirror of society - there is a school of thought that we live in a fucked up world and it is not clear what the norm is. Perhaps if everyone behaves in an abnormal or immoral way then that abnormality becomes the normality and the immmorality the new morality.
The world would be a better place if people were nicer to each other. A bit of an oversimplification but true.
The debate will continue...........

Resolved by a new Pope? And we will all be on ?200k a year when we get a new Chancellor........the whole disgusting bunch of child abusers need outed and destroyed. How many cases are ignored and covered up with 3 Hail Mary's and the threat of going to hell if you tell anyone little boy? The new Pope will be an African to appease the less educated and PC brigade and not ask questions as he will be living in luxury that Saudi royal family members would baulk at.

This sordid episode shows amply the chaotic bollocks of the catholic church.I note too that this disgraced cleric ranted long, hard and often about the sins of homosexuals.Hope the twat is made to feel the error of his nasty nasty ways and how many people he has let down.He can pray to his god to forgiveness but the more enlightened will see him for the faker that he is and was for many many years..
