Get a move on with industry start to upgrade and build now infrastructure - roads railways and the like get construction going again and inject much needed money into the economy. why do we put up with ineptitudes and half hearted measures - you know why because we are firghtened of usetting the minorities - well maybe the najorities need to stand up to the government - maybe we need to say enough is enough and say that if you can run this country then you have no right to be where you are. Get out and lets get someone in that is tough and has the country interests at heart.

Start making cars again - start out industry and put tax on imports through the roof - make it impossible to buy a car from another country. Start ro throw money at our own industry - tax breaks and investment assistance.

Those corporates that avoid tax ? remove thier licence to operate in this country. Any company must be licenced each year and can only get the licence if they can prove that they have paid the right coporation taxes.

Employ someone and you get breaks for that - simply put make it hard for external companies to do what they have been doing.

Food - produced in this country or have dna checked and traced history, obtained from farms that operates to a BS applied legislation - so you are in romania and BS dont apply ? yeah go fuck yourselves you are trying to sell it in the uk then you need to adhere to uk rules or you wont be eligable, so the eurocrats start to bitch sorry cant hear them as were not in euroland now.

We are a large country we can work on our own and we can survive so lets do it - lets pull our resources and work internally and to hell with other countries. stop paying out and invest in our own on our own. look at the books we put out more than we get back. if we worked on our own then we could be very comfortable indeed - we could make it work.

So you dont need to be a multi millionaire to have a great life, a few grand a month would be ideal - its about time we started our own political party and said to hell with europe and to hell with immigration. Start up a reciprical agreement for that - if one wants to come in here from a country then one would need to go from here to that country - no one wants to then sorry its a toughie but you aint comming here.

Sadly the downgrading has been on the cards for years... and as a country the UK should not have been a tripe Also I think the downgrade is correct. This will make its way down to the man in the street and they will, as always, pay up and carry on, hoping one day their house will go back up in value.

If you stop and look at the UK over the last 20 years all that has really driven it was shopping, the city and cheap money for property... No one in power was concerned over it at the time so I don't think anyone should be too concerned now... its just life and your kids kids will pay up and clear the debt over the years.

Good heavens - read this article about Switzerland, the latest member of the "sick men of Europe" group. My economic suggestions for Switzerland are as follows:

1. Build more cuckoo clocks.

2. Try developing a culture.

3. Concentrate less on whether the correct bin bags are being used for refuse collection.

4. Make the Swiss Guard uniforms available to buy over the Internet. I will take two for forthcoming fancy dress parties.
