Yeh, but her Maj aint a left footer and means what she says.
What are the qualifications for Pope?
A left footer friend says that I am going to burn in Hell, so I guess that lets me out. Mind you, I don't fancy the schmutter he has to wear. The Vatican really ought to get a new tailor for him.

Tony Blair has already fucked up. He spent years wanting to be a Catholic cos his wife was one, she would be as her dad was Scouse Irish. Certain cities have high Catholic populations due to Irish Immigration to serve industries. Places like Manchester, Glasgow, Newcastle, Liverpool and Sunderland have lots of Catholics, just look at the electoral roll and see so many Irish surnames crop up.
Blair disgraced himself. He took Holy Communion before he converted to Catholicism. That is a sin. He should have gone and confessed (lots and lots, causing the deaths of millions) then been absolved and baptised. In my day it was considered a sin to eat meat on friday but as Fr Dougal from Father Ted (My Bible btw) pointed out "What happens to those now that its OK to eat meat on a friday? Do they get sent to heaven but the ones who ate meat on fridays before this new rule dont?" Dougal made a Bishop question his faith when he said "you know the bit about when Our Lord comes down and judges us and we all go to heaven and that, and if God created the universe what did he do with his time before that?" The Bishop says "Yes?" And Fr Dougal replies "Well thats the bit I am struggling with". The Bishop then loses his faith and becomes a hippy!
I like the bit where Father Ted mentions dangerous religious cults and Fr Dougal replies "Oh Yes Ted! I have heard about these cults, they all dress in black and say Our Lord will come back to Judge us! Crackerjacks!". To which Father Ted replies "No Dougal! Thats us! The Catholic Church!"
Fr Dougal is a decent priest, never fiddled with a child in his life.

To answer the original question. Sadly I think it will be Gazza. A very talented man but troubled mentally since witnessing his freind being killed during a childhood accident, he never got over it. Sank into alcoholism, got little help from suppossed mates, he sank deeper and deeper the poor lad.
Similar spoilt talents George Best. Or Van Gough or any number of talented but troubled people. Genuis comes hand in hand with a whole set of other problems....I said that.
