I don't think we should hold our breaths waiting for him to emerge, Porn Baron.

During the Cold war era, a Hungarian cardinal spent 15 years holed up in the U.S. Embassy.

Things would get interesting if Ecuador gave him a diplomatic passport. But I agree, the British government is behaving like a bully, we would be appalled if a foreign government threatened one of our embassies for taking in an asylum seeker. The Swedish case against Assange has not even got to charges yet, but we thinking of ripping up the diplomatic rule book? I have a feeling this has got more to do with the USA wanting him to spend the rest of his life in a federal supermax gaol alongside Bradley Manning.

Just looked it up and Assange is ACTUALLY accused of the Swedish definition of "rape".............having sex without a condom! A definition unique to Sweden. The case was dropped originally and then mysteriously brought back by the head of Sweden's judiciary.

Never in the field of human endeavour has so much sledge-hammer "Justice" been brought about to arrest a person on the charge of an alleged sexual assault!

I thought we'd stopped being the Yanks tagnut sniffers when VP Tony fucked off but obviously not. Whatever happened to Britain?

The Frank Thring anti-pc squad deployed!!!

I have it on very good authority from Mr. Thring that his anti-political correctness squad has been deployed around the Ecuadorean embassy.

Apparently there are two options.

Option 1 Expensive.

Cruise missile through the bedroom window followed by the riot boys.

Option 2 Inexpensive.

Wall up the embassy and stick some mustard gas in. Apparently they don't like it up 'em.

Oops, just found out that Assange was not brought up in a council estate with a dodgy reputation.

Stand down men and await further orders. !wink!

Something smells really off the way the government and the authorities are treating Julian Assange.

I am beginning to think he has been stitched up and want to make an example of him for daring to revela secrets about the US government on wikileaks and they will have me beleive he raped a woman in Sweden....Why dont they just find kiddy porn in an unopened email because the extreme porn possession wont be good enough

I htink we are witnessing a political prisoner in the making folks. I honestly do but I dont know this for a fact but there is far too much smoke to say there isnt a fire behind it

I'm sure if I was accused of rape Id be running for the Ecuadorian embassy expecting them to put me up. NOT! I wouldnt expect my feet to touch the ground!

Nor would I expect people aroud the world to defend me from extradition. Smells like a big fat stitch up!

It's all so bloody obvious as well its a stitch up, unless you are really, really stupid. Governments really do think we are ALL dumb. This clumsy case will enrage every hacker and whistleblower from all over the World, so called, "Leaks" will now turn in to a torrent.

No wackie baccie but I am experiencing the delights of a few bottles of CHurchwards Original Cider, on special offer from the local Lidl.

THere has been a mixup with the deployment of the Frank Thring ant-politcal correctness assault squad.

The bus brought them to the Ecuadorean embassy by mistake when in fact they should have been dropped off for an oppo at the New Addington estate in South London, the former home of poor Tia Sharpe
