Its another sad case. Made more sad in that I believe that the police didnt conduct this investigation correctly - although that may be the case the face is that we had a girl killed by the people around her that should have been looking after her.
Im sure much of this will come out in the wash and we will find out what happened.
Hope that whoever did it goes away for a long time - its just a pity we dont have the death penalty as this would be a fine example of when to use it.

My suspicions were aroused, when the boyfriend of the Grandmother was talking to the news about his 'hurt' about initially being made a suspect.
In almost every sentence, when he referred to Tia, he mentioned her in the past tense.
Completely irrelevant to the story but if he's 37, by fuck he had a hard paper round.

I just can't undersand why you are trying to turn this perfectly reasonable topic into a slanging match. People are putting over their point of view and discussing the matter with some gravity and you have to barge in and stamp all over everything with your size 10 boots. You really are an insensitive person.
Just give it a rest and mourn for this poor girl and her family. The loss of a child will tear the heart out of any parent rich or poor. It would be a never ending, living nightmare.
Show some intelligence, Slip

If you talk shite, I correct you.
Get over it.
"Just give it a rest and mourn for this poor girl and her family."
And you are the one ready to convict Hazell before either a trial or admission of guilt.
Not much "mourning" going on there from you eh? Too busy being judge, jury and executioner.
Take OEJ's advice for once in your life - obviously it looks bad for Hazell, but let's wait and see.
PS Did I miss your denial that you were so annoyed at me spanking your arse on BGAFD that you went to another forum, desperate to get support from people to come back here and attack my views? No, thought not!

Hasn't the neighbour been arrested too?
Just wondering if the police searched the neighbour's house when the first searched the Grandmother's house. If Tia's body was at the neighbours, then moved, it would account for why the coppers missed her body the first few times.
I don't understand how the body wasn't found. Especially as they had the dogs in too.

There are rumours that the girl's body might have been secreted somehow in the next-door loft, as the divider between the attics of the terrace may not have been secure. Still a cock-up by HM Plod if true, but not quite like they shone a torch up there and went 'nope'.
Of course, as it's a rumour, that could all be bollocks and they just forgot to look up the loft, but if the 3rd person arrested is the next-door neighbour, it might be that the Polis think he knew and helped to hide the body.

That poor, poor child.
All I can say is that they should hang that murdering scumbag! And before anyone says 'Oh, he hasn't been found guilty yet' - They found her in his loft for crying out loud!
Truly sickening.

The Police seem to have been somewhat clod-hoppingly inept in this case.
Experts have implied it is because they did not want to upset the rights
of the family. In other words political correctness rears its ugly head again.
Truly, truly, truly, as a proud Brit who visits frequently but watches my land
from afar, I have to say the Political Correctness is destroying Britain -
from sensible aspects of everyday life to a major crime investigation !!
