Ahhh FRENZY.....the late British one ! I was at the premiere of that in my
young journalist days and met (or interviewed) Hitchcock and his birdlike
little wife (whom I later found out was the power behind his throne), Alma
Hitchcock.....He was, as I recall, suitably witty and rather grumpy. She said
not a word. I was also surprised how fat he was.

I have always had a soft spot for the film Marnie, felt you saw the actor Sean Connery could have been had he not got stuck with the bond label.

Connery has some great movies behind him even with the Bond tag. The Hill was brilliant(probably his best film imo),The Offence was brutally real,The Anderson tapes was a great cult film,i think the only time he worked with Sindey Lumet. He was the best bond by far anyway,if you look at his CV he may not be Olivier but hes one hell of a great actor.

'North By North West' is good too. I always think that if Hitch had made the James Bond films, then they'd have turned out a lot like that movie.

'North By North West' is a Hitchcock movie, and a particularly iconic one at that. What's your point exactly?

He was replying to the post above yours.
Vertigo is my favourite, that Herrman score is amazingly good.

I thought most of Hitchcocks films were crap. But, you can't please everyone. Again, this is just my opinion.

Rear Window.
Best looking "Hitchcock Blonde" too, which is saying something.
