Dunno how expenses are worked out for envoys - day rate or receipts only, given it is only a now and again involvement as far as I am aware.

He isn't resigning from his MP role. He doesnt have much of a record on attendance and voting.

I think there should be some minimum requirement at Westminster before you can draw the salary. If you're not doing the work in the Houses of Parliament then don't take the salary is my view.
