Re: Jimmy Saville auction

I was looking at the expected prices for some of Saville's stuff and personally I think they are nuts. Sure, Saville was a quirky entertainer, but that's about it.
The auctioneers seem to think he has got some kind of iconic status. I could imagine for example Cliff Richard's stuff going for alot. I used to duplicate tapes for some of his female fans and strangely they were all morbidly obese and also drove tiny cars like Fiat 500's. They were all lovely and totally obsessed with Cliff and I reckon they'd pay a fortune for anything Cliff owned.
Saville on the other hand was a bit creepy. Lived alone with the trappings of his dead mother still laid out. Someone that you wouldn't be surprised to have read a shock headline about. Anyway i think I might make the trip to his auction if I can, because I think there might be a bargain or two.
Is anyone on here a huge fan of Jimmy Saville am I wrong and thousands of fans will descend on this auction and pick it clean like a swarm of locusts?
