I aint a tory. I do not tie myself to any party as such. I can be described as a floating voter. Yes I do like Boris Johnson and I do like Nigel Farage. I have no time for the present bunch of arseholes in govt from Cameron down. If all you fuckers who are so dyed in the wool socialists don't like it then fuck you all !! You are the ones who are shit in my eyes.

Sorry Rodders but David and Sam (no, not those two) are quite correct, we were public sector workers, whilst in the Army.

Admittedly, the Armed Services are at the better end of the public sector spectrum, as opposed to all those lazy arsed pen pushing bureaucrats, who do the bare minimum and if it's not in their job description then you can forget it.

I quite fancy building my own private army though, if you wish to join up. The old trigger finger is getting twitchy.

Thinking of invading China in August, as they'll all be too busy being over here, kicking everyone else's arse at the Olympics.

"I have not worked in the public sector."

There you go, Rodders, as Bamboo points out, you are talking arse.

You ARE in complete denial of your time as a PUBLIC SECTOR worker who now receives a PUBLIC SECTOR pension, much maligned by Nigel Farage.

It's time to come out of the closet and admit it. I am sure it will make you a happier person.

You may be technically correct. But, I will never and nor do any of my former comrades agree that we were public sector as that is synonimous with the Civil Service et fucking cetera!
You can go on as much as you like but I will not change my views.
You are just a fucking arse who likes to find fault with everyone.

"You may be technically correct."

It's not a question of "technically correct". It is correct - end of.

Your pay whilst in the army was funded by the taxpayer, in the same way that a pen pusher in Whitehall is funded by the taxpayer. Your army pension is funded by the taxpayer in the same way that a pen pusher in Whitehall's pension is funded by the taxpayer.

No amount of self delusion on your part will change that.

"You are just a fucking arse who likes to find fault with everyone."

Err, if you look at your own posts, you are hardly slow in disagreeing with a wide range of forumites, are you?

Look, I have the utmost respect for people that risk their lives in the armed forces. The point that I am making is that when the likes of Cameron, Francis Maude and Farage bang on about the public sector and how it is far too big and public sector workers are generally over paid and have pensions that are far too good, they are not just talking about faceless, WHitehall bureaucrats and council chief executives, but they are also referring to hospital porters, school cleaners, care assistants, social workers and people who risk their lives in the armed forces.

They are all public sector workers if they are paid by the state.
