Thanks for putting me right! I will be sending an email to them. They are quite good normally. I bought a frozen sweet and sour chicken meal that was on offer about a month ago for ?2. It contained pork and beef slices in sweet and sour sauce. On mailing them they immediately sent me a gift card for ?10 no more questions. I was surprised they didn't ask for evidence.

It would be interesting to hear what kind of response you get from the thieving cunts, GS. Keep us posted.

I'd also be willing to bet that they're not the only ones jumping the gun to make a fast buck at the expense of the unsuspecting punter who just assumes that the VAT levy is immediate.

Eric it only applies to anything that is above ambient room temperature.

My mistake Flat_Eric. Prices had to rise due to transport and ingrediants costs!!! Just a coincidence it was about 20% !shrug! Looking forward to my gift card.
