Approx 10metres x 2.5 twin and earth, approx 5 metres x 1.0 twin and earth and approx 5metres x 1.0 triple and earth. I also have some earth cable as well.

Can't help much regarding an inverter or much in the way of tools but I do have contacts in the electrical industry so I could have a go and see if they'd be willing to "donate" anything. Can't promise but I can ask and see if they'd be willing to.

Thanks Mr Myson, I think all of that stuff would be useful, I'm sure he could double or even triple up your 30 amp cable if necessary. Once you strip all the wire out of the cable and twist it together you could make some high amp low voltage short battery tags with it. I think all and any cable would be put to good use in the end.

I plan to send a box with stuff in it including a book so all the cable and bits can go in this box. I'm going to look in Bangkok for an inverter, but I think at this stage there's plenty he can do locating batteries, cables, mopeds engines etc before we get to the inverter bit and I have another mate here who hopefully will chip in for this. I only want to send low value items from the UK in case it all gets nicked on route, although I'm told the Thai post office is OK.

I've just been and had a look at what else I have and I've found about another 5 metres x 6.00mm twin and earth. Could be useful for them short battery tags?
