Health and Safety - when it is applied by those that dont know what it means that is what is wrong - do gooders looking to make em feel important and hide behind rules and clipboards - its what gives them power.
I work in an industry that requires extensive health and safety - I was unfortunate enough to see a circuit breaker fail during a racking proceedure its there for our safety primarily and secondarily to protect the company.
suddenly when you see something like that happen you realise just how important that we have the proper rules in place.
This case I think it was to do with insurance which strictly isnt H&S...
