As I've posted on here many times they do nothing for me even impressive ones like Holly D.

I really do wonder how many people think them through with a long term view rather than follow the current trend like sheep.

In time hair changes can be reversed or updated, piercings can be removed and in time heel to a almost invisible scar etc.

in comparison tattoos require expensive removal.
Having not seen someone after a removal how successful i.e. how invisible is the area of the removal both after the procedure and long term?

Tatoos are a personal choice but what makes a lot of them look awful are the proliferation of what I would call second grade artists who tatoo people.
When in Singapore a mate of mine used to get a tatoo every Saturday when we went down to the city. He would have his tatoo and the rest of us would have a hair cut waiting for him and then we would all go to the Commonwealth Club for steak and chips.
A couple of times I was tempted to join him but chickened out. After a year his whole body was covered in fucking awful quality tatoos which he has to live with for the rest of his life.
My sister in law has little blue bird tatooed on her right shoulder and I fantasize about how I would like to kiss it whilst giving her one. That's about the level of tatoos I like to see on a woman.

I actually regret having a small pointless tattoo as my first one and wish I had gone straight in with the larger one.

My first was a playboy bunny on my right shoulder blade back in 2002. I picked it because I wanted it small incase it hurt too much! What a wuss. But turns out I loved being tattooed and then didn't like the bunny so much.

I now have 4 tattoos (3 new and a coverup for the bunny) and will be having more. I have 2 comic book themed tattoos and 2 video game themed ones and will be starting work again on the video game ones soon as I'm having a sleeve on my thigh (my arms are too tiny!)

I'm also having a tattoo done for my daughter but not her name. Personally I think the only name you should ever have tattooed on you is your child or someone from your family seeing as a tattoo lasts a lot longer than most relationships hehe. I'm having a pinup style Disney pic to represent my nickname for her and a couple of meaningful quotes underneath.

I see a lot of posts online of people saying how models are stupid to get tattoos as guys don't want to see them, it ruins their careers, etc. But I choose to have them because I am a person first and a model second and make my decisions based on what I want for me and not what other people may or may not want to see. For any change a model makes to herself there will always be someone who doesn't like it.

Valid points Harmony but in many social circles tatts are a simple no no. Friend of mine lost out on a job, which she could have done with her eyes closed, because of her tattoos. The company deal with many wealthy clients and saw her tatts as the wrong image. A very pretty, un tattooed and very dim girl go the job. My friend was genuinley mortified as she has the brains and ability to do great jobs but is not worried her tatts are were a CLM (career limiting move).
