If that were so, the FTSE 100 would hardly have gone up 4% today, would it, given our actor friend was saying everyone is getting out of equities and putting their money in bonds and US dollars?

Seriously you thought bankers had morals? Money does and always will make the world go round. Forget religion and politics, cash corrupts everyone? My Golf Club has a little clique of bank managers and you could not meet a more arrogant bunch of tossers. Financial meltdown? Don't blame us matey and pass the bonus pool. Post Communist Russia is the perfect example.
