Gaddafi once had it all but slowly watched his empire crumble. The trusted fled to the opposition and now that his defence has collapsed the whole world is laughing at him. Sorry did I say Gaddafi? I meant Wenger!!!!!
I was in the pub when a man in a wheelchair rolled up to me and said, "Arsene Wenger tried to sign me for Arsenal today"
I said, "Is he fucking stupid?"
He said, "I know .. as if I'd sign for that bunch of shite"
My mate has just called to ask if I want any tickets to watch a couple of comedy acts on 2nd October. I asked, ?Who's appearing?? He said, ?Spurs and Arsenal.?

From what i can see if your a perennial top 6 finisher you can start the season with a run of pathetic performances and start playing around January given the other 14 teams are feeder clubs and as such perform so yo yos
I wonder which one of the bottom 10 will get relegated this year
See Liverpool for the script circa 2010 for starting off as a blind drunk and end up qualifying for Europa

Keep dreaming Emma!! It will be interesting to see if the said players put pen to paper....top 4 is a no no this season. Scum, City, Chelsea, Bin Dippers (LFC) will be the top 4.
In Arsene We Trust.... still

Well, the players have signed so that's a start... They have a fortnight to get to know their teammates and then we should pick up our first three points of the season.
Way to go yet.

Well Arsenal have still some way to go to replace their transferred players.
In the last few months they have lost Fabregas to Barca, Nasri and Clichy to Manchester City, Eboue to Galatasry, Traeore to QPR and Bendtner is on his way out.
At least it is reassuring to see Wenger signing defenders like Mertesacker who has 75 caps with Germany.
Cheers

I don't think we will miss Traore somehow. He played one game in 15 months and then was immediately sold.
Bendtner is only on loan - I think Wenger still rates him (although not as highly as NB rates himself) and AW believes a year out of the glare of publicity at the Emirates will make him come back a better player.
Eboue had no future at Arsenal - he wasn't even allocated one of those silly squad numbers.
Five new players in a couple of days - Wenger must be laying down in a darkened room with a wet compress on his forehead after all the stress at that much ink on the cheques.
