Give me strength Bernard. YOu dont have even a modicum of understanding of what I am saying.

Read this post

to understand what I am on about.

In that post you will read the following

Is the violence moronic, stupid, criminal, life threatening, inexcusable and needs to be crushed? Obviously yes it is. Otherwise potentially numbers of innocent people will die.

How can I make it any clearer?

No, you are not dreaming! I am apologising for launching my unprovoked attack on your enthusiasm for New Labour and your Ed Milliband! You and No 6 have a right to eulogise about them if you so wish and I shouldn't have immediately rubbished your views, even if I think they are misguided. Don't take it personally, I would have to restrain myself from attacking someone who was a Tory fan or in fact a committed Christian.

So you may enthuse away unabated with no fear of attack from me, you might hear a gnashing of teeth and yes the arms of my sofa will be in sheds as my nails gouge out the stuffing in rage! But detente will win the day!

At the same time I think to use the word, "Cool" to describe Ed Milliband is a little far fetched and someone should mention that Cameron was at the dispatch box for nearly 3 hours (Good) and managed to fend of every single question with an answer that would commit himself to nothing.(Bad) In other words it was 3 hours of total shite!

Now hear what politicians used to sound like, eg Winston Churchill, ie not wiley but totally committal, no bullshit or spin:

Strangely, he didn't feel the need to form a "Consultation group"or even consider the Health and Safety issues, when he committed us to, "Fighting on the beaches" and so on!

There's a comment from an American saying, "That's one bad mutherfucker!" LOL

Thanks Jimbo

Jimbo,

Many thanks.

"You and No 6 have a right to eulogise about them if you so wish and I shouldn't have immediately rubbished your views, even if I think they are misguided."

As to eulogising New Labour and Ed Miliband, I can only speak for myself and not Number 6. Personally, Miliband has already stated that New labour is dead. And as you know I have frequently stated a number of huge mistakes the Labour government made e.g. Iraq, controlling the banks, uncontrolled Polish immigration while other EU countries took advantage of the available controls, not doing enough for the old etc etc

If there was an election tomorrow I would vote Labour not through any sense of it leading to some promised land as you imply, but simply because I prefer them, warts and all to the Tories.
