Randy Savage is not in the Hall of Fame because of an 'alleged' affair with Stephanie McMahon. This is fairly common knowledge. Vince McMahon is on public record as saying he 'despises no one more than Randy Savage'. He has never been invited to any WWE get together, special, Saturday Nights Main Even specials, Raw Anniversary Specials, Smackdown Anniversary Specials, WWE's Tribute to the Troops Specials. Nothing. He has never even been considered for the Hall of Fame. At least Bruno was considered & offered the spot which he turned down. 'Macho' had said he would have accepted the invitation to be entered into the HOF if it was offered. No offer was forthcoming! Hell, Vince has even made up with Bret Hart & inducted him into the HOF. Also Shane McMahon has also gone public of his dislike of Randy Savage even using the word 'Hate' about him. He was on WWE's most despised list at No.1 even higher than Kevin 'Nailz' Wacholz, Billy Jack Haynes & Ole Anderson. All of whom Vince despises!

The 'alleged' affair is common knowledge, especially on Wrestling Forums, Talk Shows & Chatrooms. It has been confirmed by various wrestlers including Sean Waltman, Kevin Nash, Terry 'Hulk Hogan' Bollea, Justin Credible, Scott Hall & most recently in a round about way by Randy's brother Lanny Poffo who was 'The Genius' in WWE. There was some false rumours regarding exactly when it was with some people putting it at a time when Stephanie was 'underage' these rumours have been vehemently denied. Though most of the above wrestlers place it from January 1994 - June 1994 when Stephanie would have been 17. And from sources McMahon had no idea until 7 years later in which he found out and absolutely 'flipped'.

I'm not sure exactly where this will all lead now. A part of me thinks that Vince will not relent & never induct him. It would be interesting to see how Stephanie reacts from her front row centre position if he was inducted posthumously & clearly his Father Angelo Poffo & brother Lanny collect it for him. If you look about online you will see lots of information about the 'Affair' it seems very plausible to me because of Vince's anger. And his usual policy of all is forgiven if it helps business yet not in the case of Randy Savage.

There are a lot of former employees who talk about it as well & not with an axe to grind either. Most of them have left on good terms & confirm the story to be true. And also that mentioning Randy Savage's name was banned! Seems a bit extreme for just joining WCW? Though as with any rumour i suppose we will never really know! But there is a full interview with Lanny, face to face on Youtube which is a good 10-15 mins long which he explains it. And says that he couldn't discuss it much with Randy as he was the 'Alpha' male of the family!
