Re: NHS

Post by jimslip »

When I was young I worked in A&E in a big London hospital and at night it was like a ghost town. So quiet, that often I'd take a kip in the morgue. Nowadays A&E is like a war zone, filled with piss heads and time wasters queing up to get a bandage for a small cut. Like the whole once wonderful welfare system, the NHS is being destroyed by piss takers from here and from all over the World. First thing should be, if you cant show a British passport then you have to get a credit card swiped, that alone would rake in a few ?billion. Oh yeah and before anyone screams DMR "Daily Mail Reader" at me, just remember I live in two EU countries where our E1 11 form will give you access to 3rd world healthcare and you still have to pay through the nose. Until Tory and Labour govs stop being so PC the NHS will be destroyed regardless of who is in power.

"No Tony Blair just lied to get us into a illegal war."

I have no intention of defending Tony Blair. The war in Iraq was illegal and the info provided defending the invasion was extremely dodgy.

"Then had Dr Kelly murdered because he had spilled the beans on the bullshit that Blair had fed the country and Parliment.

Obviously you are welcome to your opinion, just as those who believe the moon landing never took place and Osama died 10 years ago etc etc. Have you any evidence to support this?

"He only signed the Human rights act so his missus could make millions."

Given that Cherie Blair has been a barrister since 1975 and a Queen's Counsel since 1995, personally I would have thought that she wasnt short of a few bob even before Blair got elected.

Oh and by the way, the European Convention on Human Rights became effective in 1953 and was signed hy the UK in 1950.

Slightly before Blair's time in office, I suspect!
