Depaved & Corrupted

They used to raid you many moons ago has the films depraved & corrupted people (the authorities words not ours).
Our friend Rona Stock made legal history when her case was thrown out after the Judge & Jury saw her films, her solicitor then said they were had been depraved & corrupted hence not fit to pass judgement...unless really heavy porn they didn't get much luck afterwards with the "depraved & corrupt" bollocks.
Making porn has changed a lot over the years for the better, we can still remember hiding boxes of VHS tapes in the loft & friends houses in case we we raided which was the norm in them days but it did made things a bit more exciting lol.

I imagine pornstars can make quite a lot of money. I am a big fan of Laura Hermansen's and it was nice to see her come out of retirement to make that Fiona Cooper DVD recently. She made something like 70 hardcore films, if 60 of them were originals and the other 10 were compilations then she would have been paid directly for starring in 60 films over the two years she was a porn star. If she earned, say, ?500 per movie, and she starred in 2 or 3 scenes per film, some films might have earned her more for more scenes - so she may have earned about ?15,000 a year - or what would be about ?19,000 per year before tax, to be left with ?15,000, if doing an ordinary job. Obviously she just got cash but it is the same 'take home' pay as if she was earning ?19,000 annually doing a regular job. That's not bad money for screwing every week or two. As it's all unofficial and cash-in-hand she may have had another income from her work as a fitness instructor. It seems like porn is quite lucrative. I imagine Laura got about ?500 per film, I expect it was something like that, or are the girls paid more for the more scenes they do? If so, she may have got ?750 cash for a film if she did three scenes - a nice little earner.

Ha! I bet Laura made more than what you think she did a year Max.

Ive heard this Laura coming out of retirement rumour to do a Fiona Cooper film. Was it bg? How do you know she casme out of retirement and it wasnt one of those videos that wasnt released until now.

I have some Laura Hermansen material that still has to go up. Its nice to know the fans of that era still desire those girls too

oej, here is the link to the movie Laura recently did for Fiona Cooper. Assuming this link works, you can see she is much older in these sample photos, it says she is 29, and she has also had some work done on her boobs. There are not much bigger, just slightly re-shaped, so this is definately a new film. It this link doesn't work properly, and you only get the Fiona Cooper home page, I read on there that the film is called Laura 1279 so look for that. If it immediatly takes you to older Laura material, ignore that and look for the Laura 1279 thing:

On the earnings isssue, I said earlier that she may have earned about the equivilaint to ?19,000 a year - namely ?15,000 a year in the hand - during her heyday. You state she would have earned more than that. I am pleased. It is nice to know my favourite porn star (well joint-fav along with Poppy Morgan) was doing well and earning good cash. You say you have some unreleased material, would you consider selling me some? You could burn it onto a DVD for me. What do you say?

To those trying to enlighten me on the current state of the UK obscenity
laws I say thank you ! It seems, as I thought, that the Obscene
Publications Act is still on the books and largely unchanged.
Public perception and a more liberal attitude to sexual morals have clearly
made a huge difference. Hence the lack of prosecutions....
Mike Freeman - who sometimes blogs on bgafd - Lindsay Honey (Ben
Dover) and myself were 3 porn producers (ie makers of porn) who
spent time inside a gaol before the current easy-going attitude.
Since the Act remains on the Statute Book I remain - I hope colleagues
will understand - always suspicious of the British authorities (especially
police and customs), the media and the Establishment.
