Jim, this is funny. I listened to the Judas Priest song and tried to imagine shagging to it with the music at full volume. I think it would be quite hard to feel any passion and I may have to stop pounding away and play air-guitar to the music for a few seconds! lol.

It reminded me of the scene in the Tom Cruise film 'Jerry Maguire', where he is in bed with Renee Zellwegger. The rather camp male nanny who looks after Renee's son earlier handed Tom a cassette of some Jazz combo playing in Stockholm in the 1960's. It's quite unnerving to have the young lady singing that chorus softly in your ear as you're slowly and tenderly doing the business, but at the same time it was quite a touching moment. I guess you had to be there to understand it though.

The few parties I've been to with couples swapping have often had the local radio playing in the background. I guess it's to drown out noises or fill awkward silences.
