mate if it was ten white girls torturing a black girl i would feel exactly the same.i have got young female members of my family and i would hate something like that to happen to them.this isnt a political or race issue but a human one.one of her attackers was given a suspended sentence.do you think that punishment fits this particular crime?

I take your point, but I just find that yet again your posting is in favour of the labour party.
Would you have posted if it showed your party in a negative light?
I doubt it.

"I take your point, but I just find that yet again your posting is in favour of the labour party."

Not a very insightful comment, Dick.

On the whole, with some exceptions, I support the views of the Labour party compared to the Tories. Therefore I tend to post "in favour of the labour party".

I can't recall you posting anything in favour of the Labour party and instead posting a great deal on what is in line with current Tory views on welfare, for example, so clearly I assume that your views are different.

We disagree.

Like I said to Jimbo separately, this is not a horrific event. You, as I, are welcome to our views.

C'est la vie.

Cheers

I don't post who I support poliically simply because I doubt very much if anybody here could give a fuck.
Maybe you should take note.
I expect everybody on this forum knows your political preferences but maybe there is somebody who hasn't sussed it yet.
I expect you to carry on with your completely unbiased views.

"mate if it was ten white girls torturing a black girl i would feel exactly the same."

Maybe, but the overwhelming majority of your posts appear to be where the criminal/cause of the problem that you perceive is black or Asian.

Here's a few of your recent posts. Can you see a trend emerging?

Like I said I have different views to you irrespective of what party we may or may not vote for.

You could argue that no-one gives a fuck about what Dick Moby thinks about welfare cheats/immigration/foreign aid but that never stopped you posting, did it?

Cheers

It most certainly has not stopped me posting but I'm sure if you check (you seem to love figures so much) you will find that the ratio of posts that I have instigated are far less than yours.
I start a thread occasionally, but I doubt if the bookies would have taken odds on how long it would take before you started bleating about the latest labour victory.

Option 1, obviously. Using violence to punish someone just reinforces the idea that violence is the standard tool to use to get what one wants, be that someone's handbag, to win an argument, or as a punishment where they'll 'learn their lesson'.

Don't agree? Fine. Show me a civilised country that allows birching as punishment for crimes. Luckily, most governments figured out a long time ago that if you want a more violent society, just use more violence.
